Comments : I have been enrolled at manassas martial arts in Tae-Kwon-Do since I was 4 years old. A few years ago, after getting my 1st poom in TKD, I join Hap-Ki-Do as well. Now at 14 years old, I have a 2nd poom in TKD and a brown belt in HKD. You truly have to work hard for each belt, but it is well worth it to be sure that you will have that knowledge on hand if you ever need it. After 10 years, I am still learning more every class and enjoying every minute of it at Manassas Martial Arts.

Comments : I joined MMA with Master Paul after being out of martial arts for a couple of years. I was nervous about starting up again, but Master Pauls professionalism and genuine concern for his students put me immediately at ease. I feel like a member of a family and not just a monthly check. Master Paul is patient, kind and fair. His ethics and morals are clearly demonstrated not only through his actions, but in his students themselves. This is a wonderful school and I would admonish anyone looking to learn martial arts or simply change locations to give MMA a try. I have the greatest respect for Master Paul and Manassas Martial Arts!

Posted : 8/26/2009 Comments : I started my son at MMA at the age of 4, my daughter at the age of 5 and myself at the age of 42. The three of us began our studies under the previous owner/management and progressed thru the ranks well. It wasn't until the new
owner and instructor change over to Mr. Paul Baratsis and wife Bobbie, was my level of complete comfort with the school at rest. Mr. Biratsis Instructed my two children with respect to them as adolesents thru their young adulthood, the courtesy for them as kids, and the integrity displayed by him for the advancement of their level as competent students in martial arts, and not just because they attended a fixed number of classes as some schools do, was and continues to be beyond comparision. My son, a 3rd Dan and my daughter, a 2nd Dan black belt, have both obtained, thru hard work, commitment and excellent instruction, a level of self accomplishment that very few individuals could ever imagine much less achieve. Now my youngest son trains with Master Baratsis, and at the age of 7, my son thinks the world of "MasterPaul" as he has nicknamed Mr. Baratsis. At 56 yrs.of age I will continue my training at Manassas Matrtial Arts with Master Baratsis, as I will not find the level of professionalism, commitment, sincerity to the art, and friendship at one school the way I can at MMA.

Comments : My husband Moses and I moved here from Annandale as black belts in 2002. We visited each school in this area to find a new 'home'. In our old school we felt like part of a big family. We chose well with 'Manassas Martial Arts'. Unfortunately, circumstances don't allow us to continue this great sport. After practicing with Master Paul for seven years I have seen the quality work in the rising 'Juniors', who over the years joined the adult class.
Well trained in sport and character, this school presents the best of today's youth.

Comments : We found Manassas Martial Arts through a friend's recommendation after visiting several other schools in the area. We were impressed with the professionalism and quality of instruction from our first visit and continue to be thrilled with the school. Master Paul and his staff are committed to his students and the quality of instruction they receive. Both our son and daughter have gained a tremendous amount of self confidence from their teachings. At their level class, they have the option of attending 2 or 3 times a week and beg to go 3 times a week after two years of attending and practice on their off time, for fun! Paul and Bobbie have a great school and a committment to the community that is hard to find today.

Posted : 10/24/2007 Comments : If you are looking for a school that truly teaches your child the value in earning their belt, not just paying a monthly fee with a long term contract and being guaranteed a belt, then this is your school!!! I am always amazed at the abilities and the true leadership that Manassas Martial Arts black belts exhibit...they have obviously been well prepared and trained. My kids missed 2 years of TKD while I searched for this school. It was worth the wait!
Master Paul, his wife Bobbie, and his amazing students give your family the ultimate in your martial arts learning experience with an upbeat family feel.
Overworked Moms who give everything of themselves to their kids---get yourself in class. My 4 kids and I all attend and giving this personal time to me has given me the world. Don't forget about yourself. You are important too!!
We live in Gainesville and it's only a 15 minute drive!

Comments : I have watched Paul, Bobbie, and their fellow instructors teach their art to two of my sons over the years. Even though we make the drive from Warrenton, I couldn't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. We recommend them to anyone who will sit still long enough to listen to us.
